So, yeah. I haven't updated in a while. Life is amazing. incredible. absolutely glorious. indescribable. outstanding. couldn't be better. Yeah. Pretty much.
Why? - Tim is amazing. incredible. absolutely glorious. indescribable. oustanding. couldn't be better. Yeah. Pretty much. I never dreamed I would have a relationship like the one I have. Yeahhh I'm pretty much the luckiest girl alive. - It's spring break. And I get to spend 5 days with my best friend from elementary school. It's a guarenteed good time every time we get together. Very VERY excited. - My brothers home =) - I spent the day with someone I care more about than almost anyone else. Everyone needs a friend that they know they can always count on. Someone that they can go to when no one else gets what's going on. Someone that when you don't think anyone understands...understands. - I got some really cute stuff for my birthday. - I, for one, am looking forward to senior year more than anything. Can't wait for some easier classes and to spend even more time with my favorite people EVER. And, perhaps, the minor fact that i'll be a SENIOR. - The mere fact that I know of people who I believe really and truly care about me is enough for me to get up every morning.
So if you've been down lately, not feeling like yourself, feel disappointed with some people around you, maybe not feeling complete happiness? Call me. Maybe I can give you some of mine =) LOVE YALL.

I love to imagine how many different perspectives on life there are. I would love to be a 6-yr old boy for a day, or a 90-yr old grandmother. I'd love to be inside the head of a black woman who fought against racism, or a father who struggles to earn money for his family each day. Just for a day, I'd like to experience what one of our soldiers experiences overseas, or what a criminal goes through as consequences for one spur-of-the-moment decision he made once.
Think about all of the different perspectives there are on life. It's a common thought but yet, how many different opinions are there of life in this world...how many different thoughts come to mind at the utter of that very word?
A 6-yr. old boy and a soldier who fights for his life every day. They both face the world when they wake up every morning. The same world. Or, is it?

I wish it was summer. I miss the free time and the crazy nights and the warm weather. But I must say...life is pretty darn good right now. People think that high school is all about academics and getting into a good college. Too bad it's so much more. I love my friends. They're pretty much the best. EVER.

Each day is beautiful.
Each day has surprises.
Like who fucked who and how bad I failed AP.
Some surprises are better than others.
But they're all meant to mean something.
Because there are some that seem to make all of the other bad ones invisible...replaceable.
And maybe it helps us (me) to get up every morning, knowing that the good surprises...exist.

Highlights of 2005: - Vanessa Carlton concert - The beach with Helen - My cousin's wedding - Having my great grandmother come visit from Maine for the first time ever - Volleyball - Camp Kum-Ba-Yah...all of it. - The combo of a car and my license - The Christmas dance - Getting to know so many great new people - Sneaking into the Tech game with Mel - etc., etc., etc.
I love ya'll and hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas =)

I can't believe Christmas is 4 days away. I'm excited. And New Years is going to be fun...I think it's just hitting me how much I have to look forward to in these next 2 weeks. Hopefully it will kick in soon.
NO BASKETBALL PRACTICE FOR SEVEN WHOLE DAYS = WORRRRD. Extremely pumped, although I will need to make a few Y runs to keep my ass in shape - anyone want to join me?

I've had a shitty day. The shittiest of shitty. But for some reason, this made me smile. Maybe it was the effort that he put into it. Maybe it was just how freakin' BAD it is. But I swear...it's the small things in life.

I love life. My past and my future have come together and I have everything that has and is going to make me who I am and who I will be. Problems will occurr and disagreements we will face, but everything happens for a reason and every person in your life means something. People will change and memories will fade, but they will still lie within you each moment...each day. Mistakes are made, but that is okay, perfectly okay. People say things they don't mean, but that is okay, perfectly okay. So here's to the past, and here's to the future...here's to the memories we've had and the memories yet to come...here's to the people we've met and the ones we still have to meet. Here's to the world before us.

I feel like I'm putting so much of my time into things that really don't matter. My grades are getting dangerously low, I all out suck at volleyball, I have no time to spend with friends, and the guy I like is getting harder and harder to be around just because I like him that much, but know that I can't have him. Why the hell do we spend so much time doing things that we don't like. Seven (or more) hours of our day are spent at school, learning things that we won't remember after our first test. This is so stupid. It's so fucking stupid. Who's up for dropping?

It's so funny how we all want what we can't have. Or, then again, maybe it's just pretty sad. The shorter people want to grow and the few abnormally tall girls like myself just want to be shorter than the average male. The brunettes want to be blondes and the size 12's want to be 4's. But why? Why can't we just be satisfied? Look to the person next to you and I guarentee that they have something that bothers them. Maybe it's their hair, or their big nose, or their ugly feet. Even to those whom everyone else admires the looks of - they might have a freckle on the bottom of their left foot that gets them every time they look at it. Why are we not good enough...why do we spend so much time on our looks and not enough on who we really are. It gets old...it gets old taking time to cover up our imperfections. It gets old for every single one of us. Whether we're trying to impress the guys, or the most popular group of girls, or whatever group we're associated with. Why can't we just be ourselves and be happy with who we are.
Be yourself. Do what you want to do. And love the people you're with.
